About Heritage Attractions Australia

Heritage Attractions Australia seeks to represent heritage attractions in a range of operational and advocacy areas to benefit members and the wider heritage precinct industry.

Key Aims
•  To share development and operational skills that further enhances standards across the heritage precinct industry.
•  To represent members collectively concerning legislative measures, proposals, and government regulations which may effect members and the wider heritage precinct industry;
•  To advocate to government, educators and historians the role heritage precincts play in aspects of maintaining, retelling and restoring interest in Australian heritage;
•  To advocate to Tourism Industry representatives the role heritage precincts play in communicating Australian heritage and acting as direct tourism attractions, not simply tourist activities.
•  To seek opportunities for joint marketing, development and operational skill sharing that furthers enhances standards across the heritage precinct industry.

Association Meetings
The association meets four times per year with meeting locations rotating through the membership base. This assists in viewing other operations and share experiences within operational staff.
